Pet Food Ingredient Packaging

Fairview Mills knows that pet food and ingredients are often cheaper to transport in bags than loose products. Fairview Mills can transload and bag your loose bulk pet food ingredients. This allows you to easily move your products from raw product into ready-to use pet food. For example, send us whole corn. Our team will load it, mill it, then package it according to your specifications. Your raw corn will now be ready for the next phase in the petfood processing industry.

THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

Packaging pet food ingredients in bags or tins is a decision that must be made. Our pet food ingredient packaging system includes running every pet food product through our lab to determine its moisture level, nutrient break down, and other metrics. After that, we vigorously sift the ingredients, to eliminate as much chaff or dust as possible. This helps improve the quality your pet food ingredients. Additionally, it ensures that a fifty-pound bag of pet food is full of your product and not with chaff. It will make it easier to track inventory accurately when you know that a 50-pound bag of corn Gluten is actually fifty pounds.
