Fairview Mills knows that pet food and ingredients are often cheaper to transport in bags than loose products. Fairview Mills, one of the J-Six Enterprises Divisions, has the infrastructure and capability to transload bulk pet food ingredients in loose containers and bag them according your requirements. It's much easier to move your products from raw material to ready-to-use pet foods. For example, send us whole corn. Our team will load it, mill it, then package it according to your specifications. Your raw corn will now be ready for the next phase in the petfood processing industry.

    THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

If you plan to pack your pet food ingredients into bags and totes you need to make sure they are quality-controlled. The pet food ingredient packaging process involves running each pet food product through an analytics lab to verify its moisture levels and nutrient breakdown. We then sift through your ingredients vigorously to remove as much dust and chaff as possible. This process improves the quality of your pet foods ingredients. However, it also ensures that fifty-pound bags are filled with your product. When you can be sure that a fifty-pound bag of corngluten is indeed fifty pounds, it will help you track inventory more accurately.
