Pet Food Extrusion

Fairview Mills also understands that it's often cheaper to store pet food and pet ingredients in bags than to transport them as loose, bulk products. Fairview Mills is a J-Six Enterprises company. This means that we can transload your bulk pet food ingredients and bag them as per your instructions. This makes it easier to move your products across the product line, from raw product to ready for use. For example, send us whole corn. Our team will load it, mill it, then package it according to your specifications. The raw corn can now be used for the next step of the pet food processing process.

THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

If you plan to pack your pet food ingredients into bags and totes you need to make sure they are quality-controlled. To ensure that your pet food ingredients are properly packaged, we run each product through our analytics laboratory to check for moisture, nutrients, and other metrics. Next, we vigorously sift your ingredients to get rid of as much dust and chaff. This process improves the quality of your pet foods ingredients. However, it also ensures that fifty-pound bags are filled with your product. When you can be sure that a fifty-pound bag of corngluten is indeed fifty pounds, it will help you track inventory more accurately.
